Take a look at what we have planned through summer 2011!       Nikon Small World Exhibit Aug. 27 - Dec. 12 Be amazed at the incredible images found through a microscope as you view the winners of this annual photomicrograph competition from Nikon. See more than 20 winning photographs.       Garden of Gizmos Sept. 18 - Dec. 5 Step into this fanciful garden full of mechanical flowers, plants and creatures that are as mesmerizing and fun as they are educational. With 19 hands-on interactives, this exhibit entertains and engages children and adults alike. A Garden of Gizmos is created by Clifford Wagner Science Interactives, Inc.   One World, One Sky Big Bird's Adventure Sept. 18 - Dec. 5 Big Bird, Elmo and their new friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun, and the Moon.         Robotics Feb. 19 - May 8, 2011 Prepare for a unique look at what robots are, how they work and how they will change the future. Visitors will discover the science behind the design and operation of robots, how robots use sensing and thinking to complete tasks, and how human and robots compare. Robotics was developed by the Carnegie Science Center. /   GPS Adventures May 28 - Sept. 5, 2011 Get lost in the GPS Adventures maze and learn how to find your way using GPS! You'll learn about traditional and modern navigation, explore ways GPS is used, find out where the technology is heading in the future, and discover geocaching, a family-friendly treasure hunting game in the great outdoors.
